This is an egg-shaped diamond. It is the largest diamond ever sold at auction. It was bought at Sothby's in Hong Kong in October 2013.

This is the world's largest vivid blue diamond. It was bought at Christie's in Geneva in May 2014.

Cost: $23 million
That is the name of the 14.23-carat diamond. The buyer was so impressed by the color of the stone that he bought it at an auction in Hong Kong in 2010.

One of the visitors to the Sothby's auction in South America, Lisa Hubbard, said that this is a perfect stone in every sense of the word.
It was found in the De Beers mines in South Africa and cut like an emerald.

Cost: $21.5 million
This stone weighs 76 carats. The diamond is transparent and has a "rectangular cushion" cut. It was purchased at an auction at Christie's in Geneva in 2012. But initially, after the stone was mined in India, it belonged to the CEO of the jewelry company Black, Starr & Frost jewelers by Alfredo Moline.
