A stone that helps all those born in the year of the rooster to tame their temper and direct their energy in the right direction.

In the Urals, topazes are called heavyweight stones because of their high specific gravity and high density.

Topaz is an evening stone. Jewelers recommend protecting it from sunlight and not wearing it during the day. The stone is afraid of the sun's rays and can fade or even become completely discolored over time.

The main places where topaz is mined are the USA, Brazil, Pakistan, Madagascar and Ukraine.

The largest blue topaz that was cut was found in Brazil. It weighed 1.65 kg. It was called Marabella.

And the largest wine-yellow topaz was found in 1965 in Volyn. Its weight was more than 117 kg with a height of 82 cm.

The rauchtopaz stone is often mistaken for a type of topaz, but this is a mistake. In fact, it is a marketing name for smoky quartz, which is much cheaper than topaz.

The 16th wedding anniversary is named after topaz. On this holiday, it is customary for spouses to give each other jewelry with this stone as a sign of the purity and strength of their relationship.
